Works on bearing caps with a minimum diameter of .85". With a Max opening of 5.675" and a throat depth of 2.2", this tool offers versatile compatibility.

INNOVATIVE DESIGN FOR EASE OF USE: Using the Bearing Cap Installer is simple. The encased magnet holds the new bearing cap in place over the yoke assembly, opposite the forcing screw. The plunger at the end of the forcing screw allows for positioning of the second bearing cap. By applying an impact or hand wrench to the forcing screw, you secure the first bearing cap and install the first retaining clip. After rotating the u-joint, the process is repeated.
